Our Story Behind 'Morii'

"With every click of the shutter,

you're trying to press Pause on your life.

If only so you can feel a little more comfortable moving on

living in a world stuck on Play.

A part of you knows you can't take it with you

but that doesn't stop you from trying.

'What if I could stay just a little longer?'

'What if we didn't have to go?'

We try to capture moments

as if we're afraid they'll escape,

but they'll get away eventually.

Take one last look.

One more shot.

So years from now you can flip back through,

and try to relive it all over again.

But maybe even then, you'll be thinking to yourself,

'Ah well. I guess you had to be there.'"

Where did our name come from?

We found the word, “morii” from the Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows. It means “the desire to capture a fleeting moment.” It immediately resonated with us as a feeling we’ve felt as avid travelers. We wanted to inspire that feeling for our guests, to host them in a home they can truly press Pause in a world that’s constantly in Play.

What’s our background?

We’re a team of real estate agents, property managers, landlords, investors, customer service specialists, interior designers, and photographers. There’s even a life coach and meditation guide! We have a network of mentors who have collectively accumulated over $10 million with their property management companies over the last decade. Having a process that has been perfected over the years makes us a powerful choice to partner with.

Who’s our ideal client?

We love working with landlords, passive investors, and house flippers. Whether you only own one property and want to rent it out, or have multiple properties that you love turning into beautiful spaces for people, we’re here to help. Bonus points if your property is in a prime location for traveling professionals, digital nomads, or wine country.
